Friendly tech help for Waukegan & Lake County.
I'm Uriel. I fix slow computers, sort out home WiFi, set up home offices, and make sure your files are backed up. If it plugs in or connects to WiFi, there's a good chance I can help.

What I can help with
No job too small. Here's the kind of thing people call me about.
Computers & everyday tech
Slow laptops, pop-ups and warnings, forgotten passwords, a printer that refuses to print. I fix it, then show you what actually went wrong in plain English.
Home WiFi & smart home
Dead spots in the back of the house, slow internet, a smart TV or an Alexa that won't connect. I get everything onto one network that holds.
Home office setups
Clear video calls, a second monitor, printing that works the first time, and secure access to your work. A home office that runs like a real one.
Data backup & restore
Photos, tax records and years of files backed up automatically, so a dead hard drive isn't a disaster. If something's already gone, bring it to me first.
Run a business? I also do SYSPRO 8 ERP consulting for manufacturers and distributors, and I build EDI Studio, desktop software for supply-chain teams.

I fix it
Often I can help remotely the same day. For bigger jobs I'll come to you in Waukegan, Gurnee, Lake Forest, or anywhere else in Lake & Cook County.
You're set
No contracts. If something else comes up down the road, I'm a text away.
Why people call me
A few reasons folks around Waukegan and Lake County pick a local person over a big-box counter or a call center.
You deal with me, start to finish
No phone trees and no getting handed off to someone new. The person you call is the person who shows up and fixes it.
Plain English, always
I tell you what went wrong and how I fixed it without the jargon, so you actually understand your own tech.
No surprises
You get the price before I start, and there's no contract to sign. If I can't help with something, I'll tell you that too.
Worked with me before? A quick review on Facebook helps a local business more than you'd think.
Hi, I'm Uriel
Most people don't want a call center or a bunch of jargon. They want a real person who shows up, fixes the problem, and explains it so it makes sense.
I've spent years working with technology, from home computers to the big systems that run local businesses. I started Lake Forest Digital because that's the help I'd want, and it's hard to find around here.
That's what you get with me. Based in Lake Forest, serving Waukegan, Gurnee, North Chicago, Zion, Libertyville and the rest of Lake and Cook County in person, and just about anywhere over a remote connection.
For businesses
Beyond home and office help, I take on two specialized kinds of work.
Not sure if it's something I can fix?
Describe it in a text. I'll tell you straight whether I can help, roughly what it involves, and what it'll cost, before you commit to anything.
Common questions
What kinds of devices do you work on?
Computers, laptops, phones, tablets, printers, smart TVs, Alexa, Google Home, routers, cameras. If it plugs in or connects to WiFi, I can usually help.
Do I have to be home?
Not always. A lot of problems I can fix remotely, no appointment needed. For bigger jobs I'll come to you in Waukegan, Gurnee, Lake Forest or anywhere else in Lake and Cook County.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the job, and I'll always tell you the price before I start any work. No surprise fees. Text me what's going on and I'll give you a straight answer.
I'm not good with technology. Is that okay?
That's exactly who I'm here for. I won't make you feel silly for asking, and I explain things the way a friend would, not a manual.
