My computer is slow and showing pop-ups. What now?
Short answer: don't call any number in a pop-up and don't let anyone connect to your computer remotely. Close the browser, and if the warning keeps coming back, text me. Most of the time it's a browser setting or unwanted software, and it can be cleaned up in one visit.
What I do on a visit
I check what's starting up and slowing the computer down, remove pop-up software and bad browser settings, make sure your updates and protection are on, and show you what a real warning looks like next to a fake one. If a password may have been shared, we change the important ones together.
What it costs
Standard visit: $149, up to 90 minutes.
If files are missing afterwards, file recovery is $199.
